Meet Winemaker Ginny Poval of Botanica Wines

I had the great pleasure of staying at Ginny's vineyard in Stellenbosch, South Africa in January.  These are some of the best South African wines out there.  The Chenin Blanc is unlike any I've ever had,the Pinot Noir is delightful, and her Cab Franc is one of my favorite wines of all time!  Ginny also has a flower farm on her property - hence Botanica.  Rather than giving Mom flowers this Mother's Day, why not bring her a bouquet of wine?  Free tasting. 21+

Last year I had the pleasure to attend Oregon Pinot Camp. I fell in love with the landscape, the people and of course, the wines. Come by and meet the rock stars that make Oregon such an exciting wine region. We will have Scott and Annie Shull from Raptor Ridge, Janie Brooks from Brooks Winery and more to come! Have your bottle signed - makes for a great Mother’s Day present!

Wines of Moldova

Wines of Moldova

Moldova, sandwiched between Romania and Ukraine, is one of the top 10 wine producing countries in the world. Although relatively unknown in the west, Moldova's winemaking industry has been well respected in Europe and has existed for more than 2000 years dating back to the time of Greek and Roman settlements. Moldova shares the same latitude as Burgundy, France which together with the proximity of the Black Sea helps to provide a short, semi mild winter and long hot summers ideally suited to wine production. We invite you to join our friend Daria Ratnikova in a tasting of unique Moldovan varietals such as Feteasca Regala, Feteasca Alba and classics such as Cabernet Sauvignon and Sauvignon Blanc. Try something new!! Free to the public.21+
